Glandalore Supergene Zone

Drilling of the Supergene Zone has returned very good gold intersections with mineralisation open at depth and to the north and south.

The initial interpretation of a supergene blanket laying over the Axial Planar Fault has been demonstrated to actually be a parallel lode extending into primary mineralisation.

Supergene Enrichment

  • 8m @ 9.2g/t Au from 20m

  • 8m @ 10.4g/t Au from 20m

  • 7m @ 4.2g/t Au from 15m

Primary Mineralisation

  • 2m @ 43.4g/t Au from 38m

  • 5m @ 5g/t Au from 40m

  • 3m @ 3.8g/t Au from 60m

Drill Results - Section B - B'

Fig 2 below highlights up to 4 zones of coherent gold mineralisation with a new target identified at depth from recent drilling. Mineralisation styles demonstrate the potential for open pit and underground.

The most notable intersections were 2m at 43.4g/t from 38m, 8m at 9.2g/t from 19m and 7m at 4.2g/t from 18m. A further intersection of 27m at 1.8g/t from 12m was mineralised to the base of the hole. Drilling of this area is continuing.

The most significant historical intersection in this area is 20m at 4.6g/t from 12m (including 6m at 13.6g/t from 18m within 8m at 10.4g/t from 20m) in EGRC004 (refer Fig 1). This hole intersected a further zone of mineralisation 100m down hole.

Future Focus

The Company is now extending the focus on the Supergene Zone to test the lode system within the primary zone and possible lodes between the Supergene Zone and the Axial Planar Fault.

The primary mineralisation shows a moderate southwest dip and north east strike, with the zone open at depth and along strike in both directions. This correlates with the interpretation that there is a series of lodes following the northwest trending shears that become well mineralised when they traverse the melanocratic zones of the Glandore dolerite. The company is continuing to drill test these zones.
